Dear Tim, We sincerely apologize for not meeting your expectations during your recent visit to our small restaurant. We always strive to provide our customers with the best possible experience, and we regret that we fell short in this instance. As we explained to you and your wife, the previous evening had been extremely busy, with many customers waiting for tables. In an effort to accommodate as many guests as possible, we made the decision to offer you a single table instead of the two you usually reserve. We understand that this may have caused you some inconvenience, and we apologize for any discomfort this may have caused.
