Dear TheAntiqueVegan, we are sorry to read your visit hasn’t been pleasant. We are very surprised to hear that our staff wasn’t friendly as this doesn’t reflect what we witness everyday; we are also confused because we have not removed any outstanding classic since taking over the place; maybe those changes had been made by previous owners throughout the years as the menu that you have seen on your visit had only one pasta dish changed since April 2023. We offer a variety of specials as well as different cakes. Working in the business and living the business give us the idea of what customers desire, what popular cakes and dishes will never go off the menu and what instead needs a new offer. For this reason we believe that a place to thrive needs refreshing and if we were to keep the menu as it was forever, we wouldn’t be offering a good service or variety to people who want to experience new flavours too. Change is part of life as well as of the business and we hope you’ll visit us again in the future trusting the work we are putting to keep Mad Cucumber the great establishment it’s been for the past 10+ years.
