The vegetables you found on the crostone could fit on a slide of bread.....if you wanted more, you could have chosen the vegetable mix which cost more, so you opted for the cheaper version. The vegan dessert is artisanal but it's clear that you aren't used to these flavours without a lot of sugar and additives. However, you spent less than 20 euros for a seated meal served in the historic centre of Pienza...if that's too much for you, it probably is time to ask yourself if is worth going on vacation anymore!
