There are three veggie heaven located in nj, two of them are actually family business, it’s two brothers that were raised vegan(without egg without dairy) and each of the brother owns and open their own vegan restaurant around the neighborhood, the younger brother just sold his store lately, I think this one is the two floor one and a very big corner store you went, this one is own by the elder brother and they are Buddhism influenced restaurant, for Buddhism, they do not killed and aim on decreased the suffering of animals as much as they can, most of the workers there are not vegan, so they might have temper because it’s like a temple, you can set the rules that no animal products in the store, but you can’t force the worker continue eating vegan when they go home, if you know the language you can talk straight to the Taiwan owner, the owner and his wife still continuously help and promote veganism. For old school Buddhism , the first steps you want to be a Buddhism you have to be vegan, but it won’t make money in that way as a religion, so nowadays there are carnivore Buddhism out there. This store they do not serve eggs or dairy, they might not know honey is not vegan , but if you talk to the owner she’s very friendly and open minded to learn
