It is pretty customary for restaurants to serve all items until they close- especially with limited hours, I have not been to one that doesn’t, unless it is strictly a coffee shop out of pastries etc. In general, muffins are considered a pastry still, unless a veggie muffin. We have been to vegan restaurants all over the world with our family, and are eager to get some options in this area. I would recommend keeping all menu items available until close. It is entirely up to you, as the restaurant owner, but having reviewed places in 13 countries, we were just trying to give some solid advice that other vegans would prefer because we want to support vegan restaurants in the area coming and staying- sadly if you look at my reviews below there are some amazing places that are now “permanently closed,” over the last few years because this industry is tough- and even more so in the Midwest, and with highly restricted populations, like vegan. Since a lot of people don’t live downtown that can be a long drive to not get the items you want to try, but it is entirely up to you. As stated we were eager to try everything, and as an Ambassador that is what I typically do, with our party- but Kids like very simple dishes to try. We hope more vegan restaurants will come soon and are advocating even more to get a raw food one soon. People are typically also vegan for health reasons though, so that was the only reason we recommended having one fresh breakfast bowl, soup, or salad on the menu. We do wish you the best and are bigger advocate for local businesses. We assumed the ice-cream shop was separate which is why we mentioned that may be the case. We did not mean to offend and give honest feedback to our reviewers we hope will help companies hear from their customers and what they want since we have a strong basis of comparison. You have a great set-up, friendly staff, good prices! As stated we hope to come back and try everything so we can change our review.
