Ordering a green salad and mushroom fettuccini certainly sounds like you were trying to get the least interesting meal possible. Everything that I've tried that sounded more authentic tasted amazing. And mushroom pasta with white sauce and a green salad are just pasta and a green salad anywhere, let's be honest.
