Just saw these comments today. Please note that I did ask the staff that was working there if they have vegan options and the tall guy said no. We came for pastries and maybe this was a communication problem and he referred only to pastries and not to food in general. Nevertheless it is not the customer’s job to clarify this and the guy could have simply said „we ran out of vegan pastries, but we can offer you a vegan dish from the menu“ or „we ran out of vegan pastries today, but we will have them again tomorrow“. But his answer instead was „No.“ We are in Portugal regularly and in case we are close to the restaurant again we will visit it again. Depending on the future experience I can update my review.
