Hello, we are sorry to hear if you did not enjoy you experience or your food at our cafe. Regarding deliveries, as you knows Gilis do not have motorized vehicles and one of the only ways all deliveries of food/supplies/building materilas/transport of tourist are made is by using horses. We try to limit our use and aim to pick up deliveries by bike whenever possible but the island infrastructure is limited in other ways. We would love to be perfect vegans but for some transport of goods we havent figure out a better solution yet expect ordering small batches and use our bike or skooter to bring one box at a time when posssible. All the island offers for goods is very reliant on horse delivering, and althou it is no way near a perfect system, we personally really try to limit use of horses and encourags others to do so as well. We are very much open to more open questions and conversations about this topic as it is very close to our heart and gives us great deal of internal conflict, desire to find better solutions and improve our ways.
