This restaurant is run by a Hindu family, it's ALL vegetarian, NO meat. Did you sit down? How long did you wait for someone to help you? We have eaten there numerous times over the years and always had some service, usually the same nice woman who brings water and fresh flatbreads. If the kitchen is not too busy you can order off the menu instead of having the buffet. The buffet is small, usually 5 vegetarian dishes. Very few other Winnipeg Indian restaurants have that many vegetarian dishes in their huge buffets (filled with meat dishes). If you are vegan, I understand needing to ask questions. However, how many buffets have you been to that have labels on their dishes? Maybe a couple that charge $20 for the buffet,not the majority of restaurants or Indian restaurants.
