Dear Saku, we are very sorry to hear about your bad experience at our organic bistro. Especially because our bistro offers to 90% vegetarian/vegan food and snacks and we've been working on expanding our vegan options for quite a while as well. The vegan options are usually marked with a little “v” on the menu. It is possible, that we forgot to add it on the menu that day. We don't always have vegan cake at our bistro but we do have a selection of vegan ice cream and coffee specialties. Most of the vegetarian dishes on the menu can be “veganised”, too and our employees are well aware of it. However, we sometimes have volunteers helping us out at the sanctuary who aren't always as informed about everything. We apologize for the trouble caused and hope to welcome you again one day at our sanctuary – not only to visit the bears but especially to try out or vegan dishes.
