Hey Monsense thank you so much for taking the time to write this review and express your opinions on the business and the service you received. Everyone is of course entitled to their opinion and as such we think its probably only fair and right to include the whole story to give people some context, so that other people can make an informed decision and make up their own mind based on all available information. To paint a picture, during the lockdown Love Shack pivoted the business model almost overnight to become a fruit, veg and daily essentials delivery service. With the help of an out of work electric black cab driver and friend we were delivering same day all across London. Hand picking and collecting fresh fruit and veg on an almost daily basis from New Spitalfield Market. We did this in order to pay staff monies owed to them and in an attempt to keep the business afloat, albeit bobbing around. In the three months of operating we received but one piece of negative feedback or a bad review, which is what you see before you. These particular customers claimed that their box was not only missing produce, a lot of produce, but, that it was also of a terrible standard, however, they chose to bring this to our attention OVER THREE WEEKS from having received their goods, furthermore they had no evidence whatsoever, not even so much as a photo to prove their case. As a business we tried to resolve the issue as best we could, however, with absolutely no evidence and three weeks after receiving their "bad and missing" produce, there was little we could do, than to offer them 25% off their next order, they chose not to take us up on this offer and felt their time and effort would be far better spent making slanderous accusations.
