Let me assure you that Alkaline restaurant follows a very strict set of processes and protocols to ensure cleanliness and hygiene of all food that comes out of the kitchen, right from the way vegetables and fruits are cleaned, to how they are cooked. Currently Bali is going through quite a severe spell of weather with alternating heavy rain and hot periods, so the weather has also had an impact on general health. We have found out that the water supplier had sent us infected water, as their water treatment plant was having issues, that they were unaware of. The problem is now fixed, we have changed our supplier to Indonesi'a biggest brand, Aqua, and also fixed a new UV light in the Kitchen and Bar, to ensure all fruits and vegetables are cleaned with drinkable grade water. Having said that, we are constantly improving our quality and safety protocols.
