This bustling city, known for being the travel hub to get to Machu Picchu, is a fantastic place to see and while you\u2019re there, you\u2019ll be blessed with some of the best vegan food known to mankind.<\/p>\n<p>It didn\u2019t take me long to find out about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.happycow.net\/reviews\/green-point-cusco-39623\" >Green Point<\/a>. Vegans and non-vegans alike flock to this place by the hundreds (seriously, it\u2019s PACKED all-day, every day) to get some greens in before taking on the long trek to Machu Picchu. They offer an incredibly affordable and delicious daily lunch menu that will fill you up right and won\u2019t break the bank. Not only do they have two amazing locations in Cusco, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.happycow.net\/reviews\/green-point-cusco-39623\" >Green Point<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.happycow.net\/reviews\/the-green-patio-cusco-56856\" >Green Point Patio<\/a>, but they also run a vegan shop next to their main restaurant location where you can buy anything from shoes to gluten free bread and brownies in case you\u2019re ever in need quick pick-me-up (which, trust me, you are).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.happycow.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/GreenPointHappyCow-1-of-1.jpg\" ><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-19920\" src=\"https:\/\/www.happycow.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/GreenPointHappyCow-1-of-1-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.happycow.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/GreenPointHappyCow-1-of-1-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.happycow.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/GreenPointHappyCow-1-of-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.happycow.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/GreenPointHappyCow-1-of-1-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.happycow.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/GreenPointHappyCow-1-of-1-1080x720.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I got to try pretty much their entire menu and everything was just\u2026so good. It\u2019s almost hard for me to type this because I\u2019m still drooling from the thought of the culinary mastery that they\u2019re serving up in Cusco.<\/p>\n<p>If I have to pick a few favorites, the oyster mushroom ceviche was just plain mind-blowing and every soup that I tried while I was there was insane. From trekking up to rainbow mountain to escaping into the beautiful heights of Machu Picchu, it\u2019s a bucket list item for almost everyone.
