But on to the food – where are the top 10 best vegan restaurants in London?

Farmacy
Everything on the menu is plant-based and free from dairy, refined sugars, additives and chemicals, and the best part? This vegan restaurant is putting the modern twist on the classics. Mediterranean fusion cuisine including pizza, pasta, and salads will keep you coming back.
VeganE
A place with something for everyone, stop in to VeganE. Big flavor and big portions thrown in with great service make it a must-visit in London. Try something with cheese – as their reviews rave about having the best cheesy dishes around!
Purezza
Purezza is the UK’s first vegan Italian restaurant, who opened its London branch in March 2018. (The flagship outlet is in Brighton.) The menu features a wide variety of dishes from sourdough pizza and pasta, to raw food, along with a large beverage list. All items on the menu are vegan and made in-house; most dishes are available as gluten-free. It was recently featured on our Top 10 list of Best Vegan Pizza Places in the World.
Bema Eats – Spitalfields
This uniquely shaped yellow pod at Bishop Square is a vegan kitchen that serves high-protein, plant-based food and drinks. Features for breakfast include oats & chia, acai bowls; snacks like beet root hummus with chips and avocado toast; and lunch bowls with international flavors (or build-your-own). Arguably the coolest part? The Bema app on iOS let’s you pre-order your meal up to two weeks in advance. Just choose your preferred time-slot on the day, and pay with your phone. Easy peasy!
Genesis
Genesis is a plant-based alchemy restaurant that specializes in fast-casual dining. We’re looking at comfort food made from organic ingredients, here, with options like breakfast tacos, yucca fries, fusion hotdogs, and more. Legend has it, their Genesis Burger is known for being one of the best burgers around – but don’t let that stop you from trying this next one…
Vburger Camden
Falafel burger, beet burger, even a seitan schnitzel burger… you can even add vegan bacon as a topping. You’ll be tickled to learn that their burgers are delivered to you in paper wrapping, so there’s no plastic waste involved. If you’re ever in London, be sure to hit up this fast food burger bar in the heart of Camden Market.
Pipoca Vegan
Did someone say vegan crepes?! Connected to a zero-waste vegan shop, this restaurant menu features a wide range of both savory and sweet (and a large amount of gluten-free) crepes. The savory have more a Latin inspiration, while the sweet feature toppings such as “nutella”-banana. Try the cassava chips with garlic mayo or pesto!
Cafe Forty One
You’ll find this cafe in the luxury boutique hotel, La Suite West. Cafe Forty One features a plant-based menu with Japanese and Italian influences, serving breakfast and lunch. An extra perk: All-day dessert, and afternoon tea menus. The cafe’s kitchen and menus are fully vegan, so order to your heart’s desire.
Biff’s Jack Shack
Two burger joints in this top ten? I’m down. Boasting their creation of the crispy fried jackfruit burger, they also serve crispy jackfruit wings with sugarcane “bone”. Poutine with cheeze curds, ribs, and IPA beer cheeze… this menu is meant to be an (awesomely) intense experience. You can hit them up for brunch on the weekends or for their regular menu – either way, come hungry.
Lele’s
Get your English Breakfast and stay for afternoon tea at Lele’s. Colorful cooking in a cozy space, you’ll probably want to stay all day in this charming restaurant. Homemade cake available every day, to boot. Does it get any more “London” than this?
