Rita the pig did something amazing–she broke free from a flimsy cage on a transport truck headed to a slaughterhouse, and jumped from the moving vehicle to freedom. She miraculously landed safely in some grass, and animal control officers took her to a shelter where she proceeded to give birth to 14 babies!
