From the menu to the art to the market offerings, the things you find at Lifefood are curated with the utmost health in mind. The café style dining offers many to-go options, along with smoothies and Chinese herbal tonics. The market section offers high-vibe supplements, personal care products, and ingredients to make your own healthy vegan food at home.

Life Food Organic Santa Monica is the 2nd location of one of the most inventive restaurants offering raw vegan and vegetarian cuisine. The ingredients are carefully selected from mostly local farmers and creatively prepared with tasty sauces.

The best place to enjoy this Westside favorite’s fare is on the sunny back patio. It’s a great spot to plug into some Wi-Fi and enjoy a cup of tea. There are also several yoga offerings including Kundalini yoga in the Life Yoga Garden.

If you have never tried Durian, it’s a fruit with an interesting odor and flavor from Thailand. This superfood is naturally rich in potassium, dietary fiber, iron, vitamin C, and vitamin B complex. It is also known to support the nervous and immune system. If you are a fan of this magical fruit, the Asian Delight smoothie is the best concoction of its kind in Los Angeles with coconut meat, durian, vanilla, and hemp seeds blended with love.

The Sea Wrap is “tuna” made with sunflower seeds, avocado and tomato wrapped in seaweed with a wasabi dipping sauce. The rich bursts of flavor and textures in this wrap will have you craving it again and again (unless you decide to go for the equally addictive Vietnamese rolls with peanut sauce for some variety).

Lifefood is known for their epic desserts such as the Carrot Cake or the Key lime pie.
