Restaurant Highlight: Buenos Aires Verde In Buenos Aires

When high-end gastronomy meets veganism, you end up with a mind-blowing restaurant!

Buenos Aires Verde is the kind of establishment that every vegan dreams of having in his or her home town.

Modern, creative, exceptionally delicious, the restaurant is a resounding success. Despite all its assets, Buenos Aires Verde stays humble, welcoming and affordable.

When you enter the restaurant you are immediately facing a variety of vegan delicacies, raw deserts, homemade bread, and many more delicious ingredients that are dispatched on a beautiful forged iron counter. Most products are made in their kitchen or come from local artisans.

Then you discover the second part of the restaurant–the dining room, where the magic happens. Cozy and elegant, you are invited to sit at a wooden table, delicately decorated with flowers and Chinese porcelain. Old tiles, brick walls and the predominance of wood creates a contemporary and sophisticated environment that invites you to relax and enjoy the experience.

Now that the scenery is set up, let’s talk about the reason you are reading this article–the food. But to properly describe the quality of their cuisine, we have to briefly introduce the genius who created it–the chef. Mauro Massisimino accumulated countless experiences in the culinary world before opening his restaurant. His purpose was to transmit the keys of a better health through a conscious way of eating without sacrificing the flavours. He specialized in natural medicine and graduated from an agronomy university before even starting his career in the gastronomy sector.

Buenos Aires Verde is the result of the passionate journey of Mauro Massisimino. He defines his cuisine “Smart Alimentation” because he only uses organic and natural products coming from productions that respect the environment. He imagines natural and raw dishes that combine the best nutrients for the body as well as the most delicate and surprising flavours for the palates.

For breakfast, lunch, dinner or even for an afternoon break, Buenos Aires Verde offers an exciting menu made of countless pages filled with creative preparations. The vegan tuna tartare (prepared with vegan egg and a teriyaki sauce), the Buenos Aires Verde’s Power Pizza  (made with a variety of roasted vegetables and finished with smoked cashew cheese, rawmesan and chilli mayonnaise), and the Quinoa & millet seeds hamburger are some examples of their unique recipes.

If the food and their story aren’t convincing enough, you will also be amazed by the quality of the service and the kindness of the team. They make sure your experience is perfect down to the smallest details!
