To help you (and your family) stay on-course to a healthier lifestyle, we’d like to share this yummy,3-ingredient-vegan-ice-cream recipe! Yes, it’s a sweet dessert… BUT it’s a healthy treat. And you only need 3 simple whole food ingredients (plus optional toppings).
1 banana, peeled and frozen
1 tablespoon peanut butter or almond butter
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
(per serving)
Combine the ingredients in a food processor or blender, and mix until creamy.
Serve immediately by itself or with your favorite toppings (like fresh fruit, shredded coconut, raisins, cacao nibs, or cinnamon).
Enjoy!

On HappyCow facebook Andria made this using soy yogurt instead of nut butter and said hers tasted like frozen yogurt!
