London- Oct 2: National March for Farmed Animals

A message from Rachel and the National March for Farmed Animals:

Please come and support us on a National March for Farmed Animals on October 2nd, which is World Farmed Animals Day.  It aims to raise awareness and protest against the cruelty and slaughter to farmed animals, and also to promote a veggie diet for the sake of the environment, human health, and feeding the world.  This march is supported by Viva, Animal Aid, The Vegan Society, and The Vegetarian Society, and it is a unique chance to show the unified message that imprisoning and killing animals for food is not acceptable.

We will meet at 12 noon at Cavendish Square (nearest tube is Oxford Circus) for a rally and speakers, with veggie food, and then march through central London near the Houses of Parliament, with another rally at the end.  As well as its message of compassion, it will be a great day out for all ages!

For more information, you can visit www.farmedanimals.org.uk or contact 07757355362 info@farmedanimals.org.uk , and if you can give out any fliers to friends, health-food shops, veggie cafes etc., that would be a great help – I can send you as many as you like.
