How We Treat the Animals We Eat on Oprah Oct 14th

Lisa Ling Reports: How We Treat the Animals We Eat on the Oprah show this Tuesday, October 14th.
Great to hear this news, especially for Californian’s who have the chance to vote to make a difference with Prop 2:  http://www.yesonprop2.com

Description of the show: “Have you ever wondered what “cage-free” or “range-free” really means? Lisa Ling gets a rare look inside some of America’s farms. Where does our food come from?”

Yes, saw a preview for this last week, I’m very excited to see it. I hope Oprah does it justice!

Did anyone see this show? What was your opinion?

Although it seemed fairly unbiased, I thought they didn’t get too graphic and the commercial farms they visited where exceptional examples. I guessing none of the ‘normal’ factory farms would let them in… and if so they should have showed that.

I sure hope Prop 2 passes, but even if it does, it won’t take effect fully till 2016… 🙁
