October 31, 2008 at 1:31 pmOh how about big fat pig or cow.
Oh jumbo shrimp: This one is thanks to One!
These animals are not always fat. Their dietary consumption depends on what is given to them by humans. This is the with the ability to exercise as well.

November 3, 2008 at 5:12 ami don’t mean to take away from your good efforts here but something should be made clear. Though I have written many articles in support of the pig and to educate people about the common misconceptions of the rather intelligent animal, the terms “big, fat, pig” are not being perceived correctly here.
When someone is called a big, fat, pig it means the person is thought of as big and fat and a pig. It is not to infer that pigs are fat. The statement is a correlation as to how pigs eat. In general, pigs consume everything and anything in site, including garbage if they are so famished. This is not to diminish their capacity for pain, their intelligence or their right to life, however, when someone is called a pig, the origin is a reference to how pigs eat.
This expression is no different from saying a certain person eats like a bird. It is no offense to the birds, but a parallel to their dietary habits. There is a misconstruction here as well, however. When someone is told they eat like a bird, it is most often suggested that the person does not eat much food at all. The fallacy is that birds are actually scavengers too and even swallow their food whole. If people ate like birds, they would not just be picking at their plates and pushing the food around as suggested. They would be eating it quickly and much of it as well.
