A few years ago I came across an article in a magazine about a vegetarian hotel in Berlin. Of course I was curious so I looked in to it and found The Almodovar Hotel listed on HappyCow!
We knew that whenever we would go to Berlin we had to stay at The Almodovar Hotel. It is situated in the heart of the Berlin Scene District of Friedrichshain. A very hip & happening area in Berlin, very lively with lots of street-life and creative people and shops. There are many vegan places in the neighbourhood and almost every restaurant has several vegan dishes on their menu.
Centrally located on Boxhagener Straße, The Almodovar Hotel has 60 rooms that are individually decorated in a modern style using natural materials and offering a range of options from well-equipped standard rooms to spacious apartments.
Bistro Bardot is the vegetarian/vegan restaurant in the hotel. It has a very nice ambiance, and everything is fresh and organic. This is also where the hotel serves breakfast.
It is completely vegetarian of course and I believe that up to 80%, or maybe even more, is vegan. All the meals and beverages are sourced from controlled organic farming.
After an energizing day in Berlin your can relax in the Wellness and Spa area high above the rooftops of Berlin in the sauna or just enjoy some excellent drinks and great food in Bistro Bardot.
I can truly say… The Almovodar Hotel is highly recommended!
