Given that Dubai International Airport is one of the busiest airports in the world for international travel, we’re so thankful the non-vegan eateries at the airport offer a decent variety of plant-based options for vegans to choose from. And surely this will only continue to increase with time!
If you’re transiting through DXB, or know someone who is, let HappyCow be the friendly guide!
Here are 8 vegan options at Dubai International Airport:
1. Camden (T3)
This familiar airport spot boasts an entire vegan section on the menu, with a range of gourmet sandwiches, cookies, muffins, salads, and even hearty meals like vegan meatball curries!
2. Treehouse Juicery (T3)
Staying hydrated is one of the golden rules of travel and this juice bar in DXB makes it easier than ever! Enjoy their selection of fresh juices, smoothies, and nut milks. If you want a grab-and-go snack they also have options such as vegan porridge, musli, and muffins.
3. Taste of India (T3)
Indian food can easily be veganized! At Taste of India, you’ll find some “accidentally” vegan options such Lemon rice and samosas (meaning these dishes are traditionally vegan, but they may not be labelled so). Just specify while ordering! This place also offers coffee with vegan milk options.
4. Giraffe (T1)
This restaurant chain serves world cuisine with vegan choices such as indo-coco curry, falafel wrap, and even the Beyond Burger with vegan cheese! Check the grab-n-go section for more vegan items.
5. Jones the Grocer (T2 and 3)
Another great spot for a pitstop if you’re feeling in the mood for wraps! This place has options for you. Try the cauliflower vegan wrap or the spicy braised bean vegan wrap. They even have iced coffee with vegan milk options.
6. Pret A Manger (T1 and 3)
The popular UK-based Pret offers a wide variety of ready-to-eat packaged foods and drinks, including items like smoothies, bottled juices, porridge, coconut milk yogurt with granola, falafel and hummus salad, fruit salad, baguette sandwiches, wraps, and soups. Vegan items are clearly marked.
7. Costa (T1, 2, and 3)
It can go without saying that Costa Coffee offers plant-based milk options for their famous coffees! Besides this, you’ll also find a vegan breakfast muffin and vegan sausage roll on the menu.
8. FIX (T3)
Explore a variety of vegan breakfast options at this coffee shop and deli! Your search is made easier with their clearly-labeled vegan options including a blueberry muffin, matcha breakfast parfait, white chocolate overnight oats, nut butter overnight oats, smoothies, toasts, raw rice paper wraps and kimchi tofu wraps.
The list doesn’t end there—you’ll also find vegan options at Le Pain Quotidien, The Hangar, and Grabb’it (all in T3) and lots of snacks like nuts, seeds, dried fruits, dark chocolate, chips, etc. at the duty free stores.
