With 11+ different pizzas to choose from, some even feature dairy-free blue cheese and tree nut ricotta (try the “Regina” and “Melanzane” for these). One reviewer commented, “I went here with a non vegan friend recently and we were both amazed with the quality of the food.” Sounds like a win!

9. Pizzi & Dixie – Madrid

Pizzi & Dixie has become an icon in Madrid’s vegan scene, with its laidback atmosphere, authentic Italian pizzas, and top notch service. A centrally-located cooperative of chefs/restaurants that have come together under one roof to offer many different options, all at reasonable prices — oh, and all vegan! How amazing is that! Enjoy the multitude of “Green Pizzas” in this spot with its pub/club vibe. One of our reviews says: “The pizza has that chewy, gooey crust that you only find in a true napolitano pizza” and another one says: “Really friendly staff and the vegan pizza’s were not the biggest, but the taste was outstanding! Fluffy bread and creamy vegan cheese. Highly recommended.”

6. Blu Bar – Barcelona

Located in the heart of the energetic Rambla del Poblenou, Blu Bar is a popular spot where you’ll find a young crowd enjoying summer vibes all year round. With a 100% plant based menu est. 2019, everything is produced daily in-house using the freshest ingredients available. Grab a cocktail and a slice of pizza and enjoy the outdoor seating. 5. Screamer’s Pizzeria – New York

Screamer’s is a popular, casual-style pizzeria in Brooklyn. Reviewers state that it’s “OMG” and “Simply The Best Vegan Pizza Ever.” There are 19+ different pizzas to choose from, plus calzone and garlic knots. You can also build your own from a variety of veggie and vegan meat toppings. I scream, you scream, we all scream for…. PIZZA!

4. NovaPizza Vegan Kitchen – Edinburgh

This Italian restaurant in Edinburgh features an all-vegan menu offering different kinds of pizza and pasta dishes as well as bruschetta and calzones. With a variety of vegan cheeses and faux meats (seitan, ham, pepperoni), you’re in for a hearty treat. One of our reviewers says: “This was one of the *best* vegan pizzas I’ve ever had. Creamy sauce and mind-blowing blue cheese. Super friendly staff too!”

3. La Stella Nera – Berlin

La Stella Nera is a collectively-run restaurant serving up thin-crust Neapolitan pizzas baked in their beautiful wood-fire oven! They make their vegan cheese in-house. A Cowmunity member went as far as to say: “If I lived in Berlin, I’d eat here every day. That’s how good the pizza is! I’ve been here a couple of times and the pizza is always SO tasty and full of flavour.”

1. Purezza – Brighton / London

Born in 2018, the UK’s first vegan Italian restaurant has gained a stunning reputation, with over 480 reviews averaging 5 stars on HappyCow. They’re based in Brighton, with a second location in London’s Camden Market. You can choose from 9 different types of pizza, with 3 choices of crust: sourdough, hemp flour, or gluten free. Their artisan mozzarella is crafted from fermented Italian rice milk. This one takes the cak- erm, crust! We’re quite impressed.
