On a trip several years ago to the Pacific Northwest, a package of Sin Dawg bread caught my eye at a local co-op. I don’t know if it was the long, baguette style shape that caught my eye, or the picture of the cute Dachshund on the wrapper. It was probably the Dachshund, since I’m naturally drawn to anything dog related. In any event, I picked up the loaf and was surprised by its weight. The bread could easily be used as a free weight! That intrigued me even more. And then I noticed that Sin Dawg was made by Dave’s Killer Bread. I was already a fan of Dave’s Killer Bread. All of the ingredients in their breads are organic and non GMO. And with the exception of one bread, all of their breads are vegan! Sin Dawg’s wrapper described the bread as “100% Whole Grain Organic Cinnamon-Sugar Bread Roll”…and I saw that it was packed with seeds, nuts, raisins, cinnamon and molasses. SOLD!
Later that day, Hubby and I had a piece for a snack. OMG!!! So tasty and delicious…with a super gooey cinnamon and molasses filling. Way better and healthier than your average cinnamon roll. And, a little slice goes a long way. We had it cold, but then discovered ecstasy when we heated in up in a fry pan. We later went back to the co-op to buy several loaves to take home with us. And, they freeze nicely! Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find Sin Dawg in any stores where I live…and only find it when I am in the Pacific Northwest. I have no problem finding other breads by Dave’s Killer Bread, but can’t find the Sin Dawg. Fortunately, you can buy them online from the Dave’s Killer Bread website. If you’ve never tried Sin Dawg, you are in for a treat!
