First find Xia Ao Zi street, about 50m towards the sea and on the opposite side of Yanwu Street from the west gate of Xiamen University. Go to the end of Xia Ao Zi including along a single lane section (which may have addresses that include the characters Da Qiao Tou). There are many eating places on both sides along this single lane section. About 15m before reaching the end of this, where the Xia Ao Zi turns left, take a right turn into Ding Ao Zi Mao Jie (Ding Ao Zi cat street). Green Market is 20m along on the right. It is a modern looking shop that occupies both the lower floor (half below street level) and the upper floor. It is opposite the back wall and fence of the Yanwu primary school. It has some iron railings outside the lower level windows with some potted plants suspended from them and some little cat figures embedded in the concrete.
