Whole Foods

This Whole Foods is very small and has a limited selection. It’s great if you’re in the area, but the Kensington location is much bigger and carries so much more. When shopping at the Camden location, be sure to stop over at Longdan (the Plantbase store is inside), to shop for additional items that may not be available at this Whole Foods.

Better Whole Foods elsewhere

Lots of vegan products, with food counters and fridges for fresh food as well as the cupboard foods, and many healthcare products too. Very expensive though, and store is quite hard to navigate as it's cramped/narrow, and not well labelled so hard to find what you're looking for. There are other Whole Foods which have a much larger store and vegan product sections.

Handy little shop

Convenient location near the park and Camden lock, but it isn’t very big. Part of the whole foods market chain.

Pros: Vegan food is clearly labelled

Cons: A bit on the small side

Very Cramped Outlet

I love wholefoods but this outlet of the chain was extremely cramped and not as well stocked as the others in London. Helpful if you’re looking to grab some snacks or a sandwich on the go but definitely not the best

Aisle be the judge of that

Quite an astronomical store with a massive range of fresh, specialist and shelf-based vegan food products. Picked up some Tofurkey tempeh rashers for Christmas breakfast for £4.29. A cacophony of delights awaits all those who enter, just avoid the meat. When needs must you gotta pay the prices.

Pros: Abundance of vegan food products , Fresh vegan food ready to eat , Numerous aisles

Cons: Shame about the meat

Overpriced

Very expensive & unfortunately despite providing a range of health store foods and goods it's owned by an anti-union anti-healthcare Tea Party type.

Great for cooking essentails

Smaller than other wholefood shops but it's great for picking up cooking essentials that you can't find at the supermarket. There are a few members of staff there that are really helpful and go out of their way to help you.

Pros: Convenient location, Friendly staff

Needs a better vegan selection

A few years ago, when local shops didn’t carry many vegan items, Whole Foods was amazing because they had the products one couldn’t normally get in the UK. However, in the past couple of years, local health food stores started carrying many of these items and now it seems like Whole Foods is carrying less of them. This store has more vegan ready made options and frozen foods than the Leicester Square store, and that makes it difficult to predict how useful each branch will be for a vegan diet.

Pros: Ready made vegan food, Ready made vegan desserts, Tofurky roast

Cons: Lacks interesting vegan selection

Good selection

This wholefoods is much smaller than the other ones I've visited, but they still have a great selection considering the limited space. Definitely a great place to have nearby if you live in the area or happen to be in town and need something specific- Wholefoods sell certain vegan foods & cheese that I can't find anywhere else near me!

Pros: good selection

Cons: bit expensive
