Yummy, fresh, healthy

I enjoyed my medium platter - got a bit of everything and the tofu is pillowy soft. Some of the soy sauce based dishes could have been stronger. Platter was v filling i had two scoops of the chocolate and pandan chocolate ice cream on top

Delicious wholefood!!!

You are spoilt for choice on this end of bridge road for vegan options.
Tofulicious is slightly on the pricier side however you get what you pay for!
Such fresh ingredients, always leaving you feeling amazing after visiting.

Lovely warm environment

Beautiful place with lovely service. Love that the menu changes. All the food is yummy, home made and feels healthy and filling. Bit pricier than expected but always worth supporting vego and vegan businesses!

Healthy tasty food

I really enjoyed my meal here and felt really healthy eating it. The menu changes every fortnight, and I opted for a medium bowl. It wasn't clear how many dishes you can pick, and even after asking, the lady said she will tell me when it's enough...ok..but I like to know so I can strategically choose. Anyway, I ended up choosing 5 dishes (the chilli jam and tom yum tofu was my favourite, the tempeh in the broccoli dish was really good and I usually don't like tempeh, the cucumber cabbage tomato salad was very good and so fresh, the zucchini parsnip curry was delish although pretty sure it was potato not parsnip, and the lemongrass ginger tofu didn't have strong flavour) and there was a choice one of 2 sauces, only the tofu sauce was vegan (it tasted like tahini, which I'm not a fan of). Also some other toppings, of which I chose the mango chutney, which went really well with the tofu sauce.
I would definitely go here again, it's very filling for the price, and feels very nutritious eating here.
The service isn't exactly warm or welcoming, but I suppose you can't have everything.

Pros: good range of delicious food

Cons: not clear how many dishes you can choose

Good lunch

I was here for lunch. You can choose the size of the bowls and then pick whatever you want
Some items were really delicious and well flavoured. Others had cilantro in them without saying so. I unfortunately could not eat them. Outdoor seating available also inside. Inside are some high tables. The lady serving the dishes seemed rather annoyed and not friendly

Pros: Delicious

Cons: Service is unwelcoming

Best vegan restaurant we have ever been to!

BEST vegan restaurant we have ever been to! This place is by far the best plant-based dining experience I've ever had. The food was absolutely delicious and expertly prepared, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The service was also top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic vegan meal. Five stars all around!

Delicious!

ULTIMATE BEST vegan restaurant in Melbourne in my opinion! The food is incredibly tasty, nourishing and healthy. You can tell that it has been homemade with love. The owners are so kind as well. I am grateful this place exist.

Delicious food

Tasty dishes and soy chai.
The medium eat inside bowl is pricey at $21 but there is a lot of variety in the dishes.
Next time I would be more selective in my food, had a bit of everything this time and it was overfilling which I only realised once I started drinking my soy latte.
The canelleni beans stew and black beans, carrot and cauliflower were my favourites. The cucumber and dill salad was yummy.
I don't think I selected a single dish with tofu in it! Shall have to return to try it. The soy chai was impressive and had deep flavour.

Only had room for ice cream

Had already had lunch when we stumbled across the Tofu Shop. But we certainly had a bit of room left for ice cream which were both handmade. The food on offer looked lovely and there was a steady flow of customers coming in. Would definitely go back to try the savoury food. Really friendly staff.

Hearty healthy food

Friendly and fast service. Proper homemade style food; everything was fresh and wholesome. Went for the large bowls as we were hungry. It can end up as a bit of a mishmash if you're keen to try everything, but you could always be more selective if you want! Tofu cakes were also nice though a bit pricey.

Pros: Menu changes regularly, Everything was vegan the day we visited, Substantial food (large plate)

Cons: Not much seating

Delicious food and nice variety

Very friendly and knowledgeable service at this family run business. Only one of the dishes was not vegan suitable (contained feta). The dishes had a good variety of flavour and style, despite how many of them featured tofu. Lovely spot for a bite to eat!

Overpriced and measly portions

Tried for the first time. Got 2 options. The chili tofu, which wasnt too bad. But had tempeh and broccoli with a sauce. Literally had 2 pieces of small tempeh and the rest was broccoli. So that was pretty ridiculous for the price. In summary, expensive for the size and quantity of protein. Owner was a little weird too and was going on a rant about political stuff.

The best tofu in Melbourne!

I’ve been stopping by for years. I used to work nearby and this place was my lunchtime staple. Now I make a special trip when I am in the area. I nearly always get the same thing; 2 spring rolls, tofu dip, chili & ginger. It’s devine. The spring rolls have sultanas and almonds in them and cabbage. They are so good. Not a traditional spring roll.
The tofu is so tasty, home made and super fresh. You can bring your own container and buy it fresh to use in your cooking at home. The tofu slices and tofu ice cream are lovely too.

Pros: Delish, fresh & healthy., Great flavours & quick easy food., Bulk buy fresh tofu. Bring your own container.

Cons: The bowls are too expensive. Get the middle size.

my favourite veggie place in Melbourne

Limited seating and some of the yummiest dishes sadly have gluten in them, but friendly service and amazing food! I love it. 😍
Don't miss the soy ice cream: it's incredible!

Pros: good for a quick take away or meal for one , delicious food

Cons: slightly on the expensive side, Limited seating, often quite busy , could do with more gluten free options maybe

Decent food a little overpriced

Tofu Shop international was a decent feed. I'd certainly eat there again if I was in the area and get something to eat, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit. The food was good but a little overpriced for what it was, it certainly wasn't expensive but it is more expensive then similar places elsewhere in the city.

Pros: good food, friendly service

Cons: a bit pricey

Healthy and tasty quick lunch

This is a great spot to grab a quick lunch that's actually healthy. Lots of pre-made dishes to choose from. I chose to have a mix of many dishes. I got the medium size which was just the right amount to fill me up. It was tasty and I enjoyed sitting at the bar looking out the window while I ate. There are lots of vegan options to choose from. It's not super cheap, but it is enjoyable eating!

YUM YUM

Highly recommend this place. I have been a few times and I love the busy atmosphere and variety of hearty vegan options. Next time I will remember to choose the smaller bowl size because it was super filling and pretty pricey. Loved there matcha ice cream but tofu apple crumble was a big let down!

Quality, flavour, friendly

When living nearby some years ago, I was a regular at Tofu Shop Int'l.
Recently an appointment nearby took me back there and the new generation of the original owners have taken up the mantle and improved on it.
This is exquisitely prepared food, no quick throwing together. And with quality ingredients. So the prices need to reflect this.

My husband and I enjoyed the whole experience so much we are wishing we lived nearby again.
Highly recommended. Bought the recipe book.

Pros: Beautifully prepared food, High quality ingredients, Delicious flavours

Cons: Limited seating

Good but not amazing - and overpriced

I hadn't been to this place in a while but went there with a visitor from out of town last night. I ordered tofu in miso, a chickpea dish, a tofu and eggplant dish and a tempeh and broccoli dish with steamed kale. While these dishes were nice, particularly the tofu ones, I paid $25 for a dinner plate-sized serving (although I requested the dishes to be separated in bowls). To me this buffet-style simple fare simply doesn't justify the price and this is in keeping with my memory of the last time I was here a matter of years ago.

Pros: House-made tofu

Cons: Overpriced

ok for quick vego bite while you shop

I ate here once when shopping on Bridge Road. Its like a little lunch bar. I remember there being something slightly confusing about the serving system. Food was ok-eclectic hot dish/salad mix of options but atmosphere is odd, bit like the side-line of a catering operation or a work canteen.
Nice to have a vegetarian option on the shopping strip with Nirvana right down the other end.

Pros: convenient to shops, vegetarian, quick stop

Cons: ?atmosphere
