Doesn't have options right noa - Edit
The store is still open, yet Lujuria Vegana is moving the factory and they are not producing for a while, so the store doesn't have vegans options anymore, it seems.

Lujuria vegana cakes! - Edit
I went there to try the Lujuria vegana cakes and I was not disappointed. I had a raspberry pistachio cake (3.50 €). It was delicious. There was nothing else vegan in the Pasteleria except for the baguette.

Lujuria Vegana cakes are amazing - Edit
This cake shop is one of the official places where Lujuria Vegana sells its pastries and cakes. Don't miss it 'cause they are really amazing and delicious! We tried the chocolate fondant (beautiful!) and the pistachio-raspberry supreme (wonderful!). Hope such pastries will reach France!

Amazing cakes - Edit
hack-man's review (telling us "this place is actually called Pujol, but there is a small Estrella sign at the side") and photo of the exterior were extremely helpful when locating this shop as we could easily have passed it by otherwise!
Read moreThere is a whole fridge of vegan cakes. I bought 7 amazing cakes to take home (packed into a sturdy box for me) and had already sampled a few at Gopal.
If you like vegan cake you really must seek this place out, it ranks up there with the fabulous vegan cakes of New York. I really wish we had something like this in London, it's a world away from the humble cupcake in flavour and sophistication. (They do a cupcake but it was my least favourite thing.)
Pros: Amazing vegan cake selection
Cons: Hard to spot, (check out the photos)

Tantalise your taste buds - Edit
This place is actually called Pujol, but there is a small Estrella sign at the side. Lovely & homely inside selling a substantial range of vegan cream cakes, doughnuts, cup cakes, pastries, doughnuts and breads. Excellent prices (€0.60 for a French stick and €1.70 for a vanilla or chocolate cream slice. The large cakes range from €7 to €18 for huge layered masterpieces). If you are vegan and have a sweet tooth then you must visit and enjoy. They also sell non vegan chocolate like Lindt bars & boxes.

Lovely Cakes - Edit
This is a lovely little cake shop. They had two fridges full of vegan options including cupcakes, cookies and fancy slices. I opted for the chocolate chip cupcake which was large and tasty and good value for money. Staff were very helpfull too.

On a whim we went to this place and were befuddled and then pleasantly surprised. From the outside appearance and judging from the area it's in you would never in a hundred years think this place had anything for vegans. And even when we walked in we were struck by the authentic quaintness of the place.
The place is not 100% vegan, but they do have a case dedicated to vegan cakes, cupcakes, and mini cupcakes. All were very tasty.
This place is worth a visit, and the street it's on is lively and gives you a great taste of Barcelona.
Pros: Vegan Cupcakes, Mini-Cupcakes, Fancy cakes
Cons: not 100% vegan - look for case.
