Mostly vegan, some things with egg. The family that owns and runs the restaurant and also runs the adjacent guesthouse (approx. $30US/ night). Chow mein noodle, drinks with tapioca boba bubbles, soymilk made in-house, and more. Note: might charge you $1BZ (50 cents US) for sharing food and unlike most small eateries in Belize, this restaurant does add tax to the bill. Best time to go is around lunch time when they have more available options. Has air conditioning. Open Mon-Fri 10:00am-4:00pm.

Eat with wonton abandon

Top notch vegan dumplings, at a good price, in a convenient location near the boat terminal. Yum!
Soup with noodles and vegan duck wasn't so good, needed salt.

Yummy fried dumplings

We only got the fried dumplings and spring rolls and enjoyed both. Service was friendly and they are only doing take away.

It wasn't as cheap as local street food, but it was worth it not to be eating rice and beans that meal haha.

Great vegan option

Currently they only offer takeout, but the food is ready in no time. Probably 60-70% of the menu is vegan, including the bubble tea, which I was quite happy with. Make sure to bring a tote bag if you can, to reduce plastic consumption!

As for the food: I ordered the noodle dish, which was good. A bit oily and salty, though. The bubble tea was amazing, and had just the right amount of sweetness.

Overall it’s a great place, especially in a city with not many vegan options available. And it’s only a 5-10 minute walk away from the ferry.

Pros: Vegan options, Inexpensive , Great location

Cons: Takeout only

Good food and interesting atmosphere

It’s a family business. The food is plentiful although I wasn’t blown away by it. But it was good.

Amazing!

This is not your average Chinese food. Fried dumplings were so delicious we ordered a second round. Dumpling soup had a rich, complex broth (Szechuan peppercorn based I think) with asian greens. Glass noodle hot pot was also delicious with a lighter broth, cauliflower, asian greens, tofu and taro. Soy milk bubble tea was delicious. Tiny little restaurant, kind service, and nice fresh air from all the bamboo plants. Went there twice and would have gone more if they were open on the weekend.

So delicious

This restaurant is completely vegetarian and will also be good for vegans as the staff will offer dishes without eggs and dairy.
We had fried dumplings, fried noodles and dumplings in a spicy soup.

Pros: Cheap and delicious.

Bad customer service

The food was good and a welcoming change for vegans but their customer service was horrible. She was rude and dismissive. Wish the service cud match the food

Cons: Bad service

Yummy!

The first review had it right. The food is tasty, especially the chow mein. Recommend. We ate there, and then came back again the next day. No where else we ate in Belize was as good.

The place is very inexpensive. The choices are carb-heavy. The decor is simple, not fancy. Having children take your order is adorable too. One time we tried to come but they closed at 4:30pm.

Pros: tasty food, inexpensive, good portions

Cons: not fancy

Friendly family-owned restaurant

Nice little place in Belize to get some veggies in your diet. The Chinese food is a welcomed contrast to the rice and beans a vegetarian gets by with in the country. The Taiwanese family that owns the restaurant will most likely be hanging out in the dining area, keeping cool with the A/C and watching Taiwanese television. they are super friendly and really helped me out one night when I needed a favor, letting me use their computer and even gave me a ride somewhere when it was dark out. Definitely recommend hitting up this place if you're hungry. Best time is during lunch hours when they have more available menu options. They also have boba/bubble drinks with the tapioca balls!

Pros: Oriental food, Clean, good portions

Cons: Extra fee for sharing
