Serves meat, vegan options available. A small and original space with a chef who does it all: Designs the menus, buys fresh produce, cooks, takes reservations, waits on tables. Is knowledgeable about veganism. Menu changes daily according to available locally sourced and organic produce and include four non-vegetarian and four vegetarian or vegan choices. Reservations are a must due to one person operating the business and because it is very small. Reported closed October 2021.

Mandatory stop! - Edit
If you like fresh and tasty real home made food, made of local products, and if you are not looking for a typical tourist spot, this unique restaurant is a mandatory stop in Aix! The offer satisfies all possible wishes (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, but also meat and fish). Take time to discuss with the owner (in English or French) to be fully embedded in the trip! Enjoy your meal including the delicious dessert!!

Terrible and rude - Edit
I went to the restaurant and as the tables outside were all busy asked for the wait, the owner/chef very rudely and whilst eating told me it would be 10-15 minutes. I noted there were a couple of smaller tables in the inside of the restaurant and asked if we might sit there. he pushed past me with food in his mouth and said agressively "you do as you like". Needless to say with that kind of terrible service I chose not to eat there,. I hope this serves as a word of warning to others as his behaviour is certainly not in line with vegan values and made me feel upset and uncomfortable due to it's rudeness and open agression.

Charming restaurant - Edit
Charming restaurant with delicious food. Vegan options are not named in the menu, so you’ll have to ask for it. Be sure to book a table if you don’t want to sit inside during the busiest season. Chef seems really passionate about food albeit a bit stressed as he was running the whole thing by himself? Impressive!

(Vegan) lunch - Edit
Came here for a bite to eat over a weekday lunch hour. Though it wasn't labeled on the menu, when I asked for a vegan option, the chef/owner directed me to my options—I picked the pumpkin "farci" (stuffed with other vegetables and rice) with a salad. It was delicious! This is certainly a place I could come to with veg/non-veg friends.

On y retournera!

Fresh and original French cuisine, organic - Edit
This tiny restaurant is owned and run by one chef, who does everything - designs the menu, shops for fresh produce in the markets, cooks, serves, taked the bookings, and cleans! The menu each night includes four vegetarian and four non-vegetarian choices. Everything is fresh and organic. The vegan option was stuffed eggplant with stuffed peppers and salad. The place was packed. Ths was the best vegetarian food I ate on my three week visit to France. My only gripe is that there was no vegan dessert that night, so my vegan husband missed out. But my warm chocolate cake was divine! Don't miss this when in Aix. Bookings essential.
