Chile Verde! - Edit
This is a MUST when you come MoAb. They make the chili verde vegan and will do the Huevos Rancheros with tofu. One of the best vegan breakfasts you will ever have (after my home cooking)

Cutesy cafe - Edit
This is a decent little place. It has a huge parking lot behind it. The seating inside is really limited. The decor is all jewelry and pottery. It’s a breakfast and lunch place. They don’t label vegan options, but can modify a number of items by replacing eggs with tofu and eliminating cheese. It’s an order at the counter place. Very hippy.

Awesome food and coffee - Edit
They had tons of delicious breakfast and lunch options for both vegans and vegetarians! We came here twice during our stay in Moab and both times I got the huevos rancheros (hold the cheese) with tofu and it was delicious. I also got a coconut milk latte and it was really good! I wish they were open for dinner, we probably would have gone for all three meals. Hah!

Delicious!! - Edit
Super cute cafe with many vegetarian and vegan breakfast and lunch items. I had a small coffee with steamed soy (free refills including extra soy) and the tofu scramble burrito without cheese. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Limited inside seating so get there early in the winter.

Beautiful place - Edit
We had breakfast at this place the morning we got engaged and it could not have been more perfect. The staff, food and coffee was great, but what we enjoyed most was the beautiful garden!

Great Vegan Breakfast Options - Edit
Electicafe has plenty of vegan options, which is great for a small town. Most of the options involve subbing tofu for eggs, such as in breakfast burritos or scrambled tofu plates. However, they do have other items such as tofu satay kabobs and curried rice wraps. Despite that the place is very busy most of the time, the prices are very reasonable and the portions are large. My husband and I both had the scrambled tofu burrito with roasted potatoes and we were pleased. Avocado can be subbed for the cheese and the staff is knowledgeable about what being vegan means. I would definitely hit up Eklecticafe if in Moab again. I am also intrigued by the Wake me up Wakame plate, so perhaps I would try that. I suggest trying to to in off-peak hours as it (like most restaurants in Moab) gets very busy.

Good amount of vegan options.... - Edit
We really loved this place and ate breakfast here twice during our stay in Moab. As everyone knows, it can be difficult to find cooked vegan breakfast options in smaller towns, so Eklecticafe is a gem.
Read moreWe are both boring and got the same things both times. For me: tofu, potatoes and toast + a side of spinach. The tofu was scrambled with a curry seasoning and a small amount of chopped veggies. The potatoes had some kind of seasoning (paprika/chile?) and were super tasty as well. Surprisingly, the standout was the toast. The bread is obviously made in-house and is delicious. If you order this menu item, the staff will ask if you want soy butter and provide a generous portion in a plastic container (we took the extra for later use).
My SO got the tofu burrito with a side of potatoes--the café will sub avocado for cheese. It’s a large portion and he was happy.
Endless cups of coffee sealed the deal. They have almond, soy and coconut milk for use as creamer.
NOTE: Eklecticafe is extremely busy and the interior is small. Even arriving at 7:25am on a Saturday morning, we had to sit on the patio since all the inside seats were taken. The patio is gorgeous with birds, a fountain, etc. However, just be sure you have a jacket in case of a chilly morning. You stand in line to order, and the wait can be a bit long. However, the food is brought out quickly. Coffee & water are self-serve with refill stations inside and outside. There is only a one-stall bathroom which generally has a line--don't count on washing your hands before eating.
Very friendly staff who know what vegan is.
Pros: Friendly, knowledgeable staff, Gorgeous patio, Endless coffee
Cons: Single stall bathroom, Busy

Great breakfast and lunch! - Edit
I had pancakes with bananas and walnuts and my partner had huevos rancheros. The pancakes were perfect and the huevos rancheros were spicy but good. We also asked for wraps to go and the hummus wrap was gorgeous. It made the long hike a lot nicer!

Disgusting taste - Edit
i ordered a tofu, potato and toast to go. the toast was good the rest ended up in the dumpster. The tofu has no flavor and the potatoes were gross, with some strange flavor.

Pleasant outdoor dining - Edit
This popular breakfast and lunch restaurant was very pleasant, with several vegan and vegetarian options. We had the wakame tofu (breakfast is served all day), a veggie wrap and tofu wrap. The food was decent. The outdoor seating was nice.

bleh - Edit
Not many choices for vegans. 2 actually-and both were boring and unimaginative. I can slap some hummus and veggies in a tortilla at home and have it taste better and cost way less. The person working was rude. She only gave me one option for vegan sides but she gave my husband two options. Food wasn't very good either.

You can tell this place is a staple... - Edit
It was packed when I rolled in here early before heading out to hike. I was shocked to see what seemed to be half the little town in this one tiny cafe. I ordered a coffee and my boyfriend ordered juice. My latte was amazing and I was very happy that they had more than just soy milk as options in their drinks. The juice was also fantastic. I am def coming back here to try the food. The board up front had so many vegan options that sounded great!

Best Tofu Scramble - Edit
This funky little house will have a line out the door most mornings, which is a good sign! Open from 7 am to 2:30, if your in a hurry call ahead for take out (gets priority ahead of sit down diners*) I love the tofu-rancheros, just ask for no cheese to become the heartiest vegan breakfast around &). Long standing restaurant with kitschy decor and art for sale. Best patio dining except for being next to Hwy 191.

Tasty food, helpful staff - Edit
Stayed in Moab for a visit to Arches recently. Great little place. Enjoyed the food (even with the mix up on the green chile - it does have tomatoes)so much, stayed a bit later the last day to grab breakfast on the way out of town. Excellent coffee. Changed to winter hours or we probably would have eaten there more. Will definitely visit again.

not exactly organic - Edit
While the terrace dining was tempting, I was really having a hankering for eggs. Its a good thing I asked if they used organic eggs. no. ?natural, veg fed, cage-free? no. plain old eggs. I ended up down the road at love muffin cafe, where I got my natural eggs and a vegan (no dairy milk for me), gluten-free muffin!

Cons: not all organic - ask!
