krishna is a vegetarian indian restaurant located on ford road between middlebelt and inkster in garden city. not the best place if with a date but staff is extremely friendly, food is good and inexpensive.

Sugar Kisses Bakery in Ferndale. Organic bakery that specializes in natural baking including organics, wheat-free, and vegan treats. Cookies, cakes, breakfast pastries (many vegan) and even vegan chocolate covered caramels that are amazing! It's about a 2 minute drive from Om Cafe.
