Upsetting. He used to be. I remember REM were in a Simpsons episode and Stipe kindly refuses meat offered by Marge or Homer on the grounds that he is vegetarian.

I always thought he was a veggie, but I saw the same TV show and he was dining with Lisa Kudrow on exotic fish . He claimed that the fish was "Stupid good".
Great legendary band though. Still a good man.

Would have been nice if it was true. I just saw him in a food program eating both fish and ham.
