Directions: From Kawaramachi or Shijo Teramachi, go west, then turn south on Teramachi, past Fujii Daimuru department store on your right, past the Am/Pm convenience store and Nobunaga book store, then you come to an alley that is between a shop and an air gun shop. Mikoan is at the end of this alley. Open weekdays 5-11pm, and opens earlier on weekends.

All-you-can-eat buffet for around 2000 yen includes tea but not desserts. Directions: Take a taxi. Or take subway to Karasuma-Oike, then go west and take the third right (just before the convenience store), and the restaurant is on the right.

Directions: Take bus to Kamihatecho stop in front of the art college, which is at the very northeast edge of the area covered by the all-day bus cards. From there walk north, Village is on top of a ramen place called Tenkaippin, which has moving orange lights around its sign.
